It's September now, which means fall is almost here! With fall comes a whole variety of seasonal pies, flavors, and inspirations in the kitchen. I've always loved the homey comfort of fruit pies, tarts, and cobblers, but as they're traditionally made with things I don't tend to have on hand, I've gone without for many a year. This year is going to be different! I did some research on other people's recipes, took stock of what was in my pantry and fridge, and planned out an original recipe that would taste great while not requiring any additional shopping.
